PERSONAL     32 Years Old, Single

CHESS INFO   BCF 192, FIDE 2223. Previously played for 3Cs in the 4NCL for the last 7 years.  It seems that I have been playing all my life.

CHESS HIGH   The 4 opens I have won (Bolton 1998, Heywood 2003, York 2004, Bradford 2004).  After them nearly getting an IM Norm at Coventry 2006 and drawing with GM Golod (2600) at the Isle of Man 2006.

CHESS LOW    Too many to mention, but the worst one was when I lost to Julian Hodgson at the British QP, a good pawn up and self mated myself, not too bad but when he only had a minute on the clock I felt a bit gutted.

HOBBIES       Chess (unfortunately), Pool, Liverpool & Oldham football clubs, Rugby League (watching obviously) and just starting to play more golf.  I do like the odd tipple every so often.

MUSIC        Generally I like anything which sounds good.  At the moment I like The Editors, The Killers, James & REM.

CHARACTER    Overly opmistic about my chess, but I do enjoy having a good time.  Admittedly though I do talk a bit of crap when sloshed.  I also detest anthing to do with Man Utd.

AMBITION       To first get over 2300 and then try for the IM title.  Also I wouldn’t mind having loads of money.

WHY PBCC ?    I have heard good things about the team from Rob T and Jos, and after 3Cs decided to pull out I needed a team to play for.  I would also like to achieve this same thing we did with 3Cs by getting Pandora’s as far up the divisions as possible.
